Mixed Media starts passionate discussions about art and culture through its flagship live-streamed podcast. Hosts Irving Nestor, Nathan Nestor and Ben Costello deliver unique and often contrarian perspectives regarding art– especially in Film, Gaming and Music respectively. Guest hosts sometimes join as well to offer their own takes on their artform. We envision a community that operates like a modern-day trade guild for artists of all types who understand the value of their craft in a world-shaping way. We also welcome non-artist entrepreneurs with a passion for making the world better through business. Here you get a combined look at the theoretical (as we mostly talk about on the Mixed Media Podcast) and the practical (as Irving covers in his YouTube videos chronicalling his business journey). We value free speech! We encourage even dissident or “uncomfortable” discourse as we see the effects of systematic censorship on those pursuing the good of society. But, this is not a free speech enthusiast’s community. There are other communities where 1st amendment purity is more productive (reach out if you need recommendations). However, this community is meant to be more like cafe. No shoes, no shirt, no service– so to speak. Meaning, keep the discussions to the standard that you would be comfortable saying in public to a room of adults. We take this case by case. No “-ists” or “-phobes” will be thrown around. If we have a problem with something, you will know and hopefully you will get the idea. There is no tolerance for pornographic content; you will banned. Other than that, post away!
